The PMBIA Level 1 Instructor Course is a 3-Day Beginner–Intermediate Certification designed for both new and experienced instructors who want to teach and guide beginner to low-intermediate riders in cross-country and downhill environments.
This course lays the foundation for becoming a safe, fun, and effective instructor — giving you the tools, feedback, and teaching models you need to grow both as a rider and a teacher.
What you’ll learn in the Level 1 Course:
✅ How to teach and guide beginner to low-intermediate riders with confidence
✅ Modern PMBIA teaching models and skills for safe, effective, and fun lessons
✅ Key riding fundamentals like cornering, technical climbs & descents, front/rear wheel lifts, and rolling drops
✅ How to plan and execute skill and maneuver-based lessons in XC and DH settings
✅ Risk management, bike set-up, and first aid basics
